Yep. You read it right. The purveyor of Prime goods, books and emergency supplies of everything, also has a red hot selection of own-brand fashions that are spot on for the season and which always leave us slack-jawed in wonder. While we love our regular high street go-tos, there is something incredibly satisfying in wearing a piece that comes from a brand with an added surprise element (and which will keep your pals guessing where you found such a gem.)
We first spotted this crochet co-ord at a press preview last month and since then, “obsessed” is putting it mildly. We’re not the only ones. Instagram's reigning Queen of colour and author Zeena Shah also fell for the summery twin-set and included it in her curation of warm weather staples for the brand, too. So, back to that crochet co-ord. We're drooling over the warm-toned colour-block design Zeena chose, but it also comes in a creamy oat-milk shade called birch, chocolate brown (called ‘coffee bean’) or an ocean blue colour-way. It's also gone on to become a best-seller and quite frankly, we can see why.
The co-ord ticks off our current obsession for matchy-matchy ready-made outfits (because it seems that lockdown put paid to us being able to put together an outfit ourselves, sadly.) But it also comes in an artisan-inspired crochet design which we can only dream of being able to run up ourselves.

This summer crochet and craft-inspired details were all over the catwalks, alongside linen everything (from linen shirts to linen suits) and we’re thrilled to see the high end trend for more artisan-inspired pieces arrive on the high street (and we mean whether that's IRL or online) too.

There’s one other gem in Zeena’s Amazon fashion edit that we are *adding to cart* and that’s the perennially popular JW Pei bag. We've fallen for the crystal encrusted version which works as a neutral with any after-dark lewks. Although we have to admit, we're totally inspired by Zeena’s chosen light lemon colour. To echo her signature rainbow-infused style, we suggest teaming it with lilac (trust us) or sky blue.
As founder of #colourmeupmonday and full on devotee of dopamine dressing there aren't many colour combos that Zeena couldn’t inspire you to try out, or that will improve your mood 100%. We advise you get on board with the clash.
To complete your crochet co-ord outfit, a pair of flat sandals or a strappy high heel will see you covered for every occasion in your diary, whether you're staying at home or are on your holidays.
