This Dior blush is about to break the internet… again

One thing that will make time stand still in the GLAMOUR office? A new Dior blush, of course. And, yes, the rumours are true. Dior Rosy Glow is back and better than ever with its brand-new formula and four brand new fabulous shades. As soon as they dropped on our desks, we knew we had to tell you all about it. Good or bad.

Remember that viral Barbie pink shade that was a staple in Kylie Jenner's makeup looks? Well, we're convinced the revamped launch will break the internet all over again. The iconic product has been reinvented in a clean formula that effortlessly blends with your skin, giving you an instant dewy and healthy and summery glow.

But what sets this blush apart from the rest is its colour reviver technology that reacts to your skin's pH and moisture levels upon application. This should leave you with a long-lasting, customised colour that stays fresh and radiant all day long.

Now let's talk texture. The ultra-fine, lightweight formula is designed to glide on and melt into your skin for the most seamless finish. Plus, its blendability promises to be off the charts, allowing you to achieve your desired level of intensity effortlessly.

There are four carefully crafted shades that provide an accurate colour match and that coveted healthy glow effect. Whether you're fair, medium, or deep-toned, there's will be shade that will make your cheeks sing.

We decided to put the new shades to the test to make sure they live up to the hype of the OG one, and here are five people with five different complexions' honest opinions.

Shade: Cherry

I'm obsessed with blusher. Don't ask me why, because I myself can't understand the bond I have with rosy cheeks. I love how it adds warmth and dimension, especially if you're wearing foundation and concealer which often takes some of that natural depth to the face away. When Dior dropped those Rosy Glow blushers in that barbie pink I was completely head over heels and so was the whole of TikTok, and Kylie Jenner... So as soon as the new shades landed on my desk I was ecstatic.

Let's start with the embossing on the powder. It's got Dior printed all over which is givin' opulence in a pan. Then there's the colour deposit, which is epically vibrant. I usually would go for a deep, purple-hued blush to complement my dark complexion but I couldn't help gravitating towards this cherry shade, which is universally flattering on any skin tone.

Despite it being a powder, this blush glides on like a dream and then melts on the skin with a dewy finish, thanks to its extra fine texture. A little really does go a long way and yet the compliments haven't stopped. This blush is about to become my personality trait… watch this.

Shade: Berry

When I say that the viral Dior Rosy Glow Blush in 001 Lune has had me in a chokehold since I got my hands on it, I truly mean it. So getting to try one of the new shades, 006 Berry, was a *very* welcome treat. The shade is a deep plum/mauve colour, which is a bit of a departure from the usual corals/pinks I opt for with powder blushes. The product swept onto my cheeks like a dream, I only tapped my brush into the blush once per cheek and it delivered a gorgeous wash of colour. I loved how much warmth the colour brought to my face, and gave me a super natural flushed look. The mirror inside is also a big plus from me.

Shade: Mahogany

Having only ever really used pink tone blushes, I was intrigued to try Dior's Rosy Glow in Mahogany. I really didn't know what to expect with this, thinking this particular shade might work better as a bronzer or contour on me. However, on application as I would a usual blush I was pleasantly surprised!

A highly pigmented formula, the blush itself was easy to apply, and while the swatch of this came up as brown, this translated into a more neutral and natural rosy glow when applied. Paired with a brown tone nude lip, I loved the overall effect this created. While I didn't expect to love this shade as much as I did, I'm definitely all in on this! Plus, the compact size and built-in mirror makes this a beauty essential in my books.

Shade: Rosewood

I was lucky enough to trial that iconic Kylie Jenner-approved shade when it first dropped, so as soon as I caught wind that Dior was dropping a few more hues of their famous Rosy Glow blushes I knew I had to get my hands on one. True to the hype, the formula is worth every penny - I only needed to tap my brush into the pan once for instant pigment pick up, and it dispersed across my cheek beautifully. I'm a definite powder blush girl, I just find that they last longer on me, and this colour is the perfect balance between a flush of pink and a hint of coral.

Shade: Cherry

I understand the hype when it comes to the Dior blushers, the viral baby pink is perfection, which is why I was excited to see the brand release four more shades to see if they could nail the colours again. I tried Cherry which looks a little bold in the pan, but blended across cheeks and over the bridge of my nose the soft orangey-red is beautiful for the sunburn blush look that's trending on TikTok. I personally prefer corals, oranges and reds when it comes to blush as pink on me just makes me look hot, whereas this fruity number feels gorgeously summery.
